Job Responsibilities:

• Character modelers work with polygonal and NURBS to create surface models ranging
  from highly stylized cartoon characters to photo-realistic fantasy creatures.  
• Set and Prop Modelers are responsible for constructing digital implements, vehicles, buildings and environments. The level of mechanical articulation involved often leads set and prop modelers to rig the models they construct.  
• Build complex organic 3D and articulated set and prop models.  
• Work well in a collaborative environment.  
• Able to take direction from the Leads and Supervisors and feedback from the Directors.

• Previous production experience or exceptional artistic skills in CGI/traditional artwork.
• 3+ years of industry experience modeling
• Scripting (MEL, PERL, CSH) background a plus
• A thorough understanding of 3-D computer programs such as Maya.
• Previous experience with traditional 3D sculpting a plus.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy a plus.
• Strong problem solving skills and a good eye required.
• Proven ability to be detail oriented and to work efficiently within a production environment.
• Must be able to work in a collaborative environment, taking direction from the Model Lead, CG Supervisor and feedback from the Art Director and Directors(s) as necessary.
• Bachelors' degree or equivalent experience desired.
• Visual examples of images exemplifying work in this area are requested for review.
